Let’s tell you more details about the story of The Messenger MacBook Version. When a ninja village is attacked by a malicious Demon King, a supposed hero arrives and gives a scroll to one of the surviving ninjas, calling himself ”The Messenger”. Also he tells him to deliver it to the top of a high mountain. On his way, the Messenger is helped by a mysterious blue-robed shopkeeper. He provides him with upgrades and even a demon who aids to save him from death.
After the Messenger travels for a while through various area and encounters many foes turned friend, he stops at the Tower of Time. There he meets more blue-robed mages. They send him 500 years into the future in order to defeat the Demon King’s general. Doing so, the Messenger loops around the world to the ninja village. There he passes the scroll onto a new Messenger and assume the role of a shopkeeper providing him with different upgrades. The Messenger MacBook Version features an interesting story, for sure!

As we mentioned, in The Messenger MacBook Version you control a ninja called the same as the game title. Initially he owns a technique known as ”Cloudstepping” and allows him to perform an extra jump in mid-air after he attacks enemies, objects or even projectiles. While progressing, your character gains new abilities like climbing walls and many other cool abilities. When you defeat enemies or hit lamps, you will collect Time Shards. Then you can get additional upgrades like health bonuses or extra attack moves. In case you die, a demon Quarble appears and claims any Time Shards you collects as payment for a short period of time.
