Shantae MacBook Version is a side-scrolling platform game now available for all the MacBooks and iMacs owners. It is developed by WayForward and published by Capcom. The story is following the adventures of the eponymous half-genie called Shantae. She must travel across Sequin Land in order to foil the domination plans of the evil lady pirate named Risky Boots. During her quest, she learns several dances and acquires items which makes her stronger. Also she unlocks new cool abilities and locations that lead her to ultimately face off against Risky in her hideout.
Let’s tell you more about Shantae MacBook Version! In this game, you play as the eponymous Shantae who wants to cross across several areas in order to stop the evil lady pirate called Risky Boots. Your character default attack involves using her hair like a whip. Also Shantae is able to use gems obtained from defeated enemies and purchase items. For instance, she can get life-restoring potions and learn upgraded combat moves. This game features five towns with many areas filled with enemies and obstacles in between them. To progress in the game, you have to seek out character who open up dungeons. Each dungeon contains a guardian genie that is going to teach Shantae a new dance.
If you use these dances, Shantae transforms herself into different animals including a monkey able to climb on walls and an elephant able to smash objects. This game features a day and night cycle and we have to say enemies become stronger during the night. During nights, you can collect hidden fireflies and there is a reward available for collecting them all.
