Before installing Gorogoa for macOS, please check the requirements below.
In Gorogoa, through the puzzles, you guide a boy while he meets a strange monster. This happens among a landscape that changes into war ravaged one and then is rebuilt with that boy getting older. He ends up being an old man who is reflecting on his past. The story of the game is focusing on the boy meeting the monster and exploring themes of spirituality as well as religion. The game scenes are from periods of time in the 20th century and include peace, war and the life of that boy being a survivor of the war. Also the game is about the reflecting on his past as an old person.
You are presented with up to four images in a two-by-two grid. Most of the images can be manipulated on their own like zooming in or out and even panning across the image. Gorogoa allows you also to move the image to any of the other grid spaces. While playing you will notice that sometimes the image presents a hole, for instance a door. This means when moved onto another image, the moved one becomes a mask to cover the existing image. Further it is created a new image.
